Automatic updating of a cell

I have a fixed cash amount coming in on the 1st of each month...is it possible to create a cell that will automatically update the total amount
every 1st of the month £200 is added to an existing amount
Month1:C4 = 200
Month2:C4 = 400
month3:C4 = 600 et al
any help would be most appreciated

I haven't any code at the moment... just starting. All I needed was to know (a) if it was possible and (b) a point in the right direction
