Attach a comment to a data point in an Excel Graph

I've added comments to graphs with arrows pointing to a specific data point, as for example, a point in time when some factor changed. It may offer an explanation of why the slope of a line changed.


However, as additional data is added over time, the arrow is not linked to the data point, but only a position on the graph, so the arrow and the data point get out of sync.


Is there a way to link a comment (or the arrow) to a data point?
