Annual Headcount Turnover

Hi, I have a lot of data to trawl back through to 2011 - but I've limited it to 3 columns and the last 2 years as an example.

I know the turnover rate will be roughly, through a manual calculation but I would like a formula that I can utilise

2017 - 33.56%
2018 - 37.23%

thank you!
Kelli

How do you define Turnover for your purposes. Explain your manual calculation so that it can be replicated in Excel.

Sorry Alan, To calculate the

Average Headcount =
Total Employees as at the beginning of the year +
Total Employees at the end of the year / 2

Then divide the Total Terminations by the Average Headcount

Cheers!
