Hello,

I think i have an interesting question.

Can you use a formula to change the size of text?

I have a list of names and ranks. I want the higher ranked names to be larger.

Any idea?

In a word, no. You can use VBA event code to trap the value as input and change it, but not a formula.

If using Bold, Italics, or colors would work, you can always use Conditional formatting.

You can use Conditional Formatting to set the Text Size

You will need to add a condition for each Rank/Size combination you want

Using Excel 2007/10 will enable more than 4 combinations to be used.
