Hi,

I am having a data in one sheet, which will get updated everyday. In different cells i am having different machine priority list. As and when i update the data in the respective sheet, i need a button called "allocate" which when hit will allocate the respective contents in the appropriate cells in other sheets based on m/c no:.

Hi,

Could you please elaborate it and it would be very useful if you upload a sample data sheet so that we can try to answer it easily.

Regards,

KK

Hi sreejeshc!

Take a look to the attached file.

In this version there is no "allocate" button. When you update the master sheet, excel will recalculate all formula.

(sorry for my bad english)

Good day bigzolie

Not sure where you hail from, but you have no need to apologize for your English

Hi Bigzolie,

In the attached file, if i change the M/c no: to alphanumeric ( for eg: instead of 1123, i change to 1123A025 or 1123A-025), then the formula is not working.

Hi,

When you change the M/c no: in the data sheet, you need to change the filter option in the allocated sheet.

Thanks bigzolie,

Now i need the existing contents in the rows to be copied to different sheet, if the criteria in the status column is "completed" or "C".It should also ask for pop up message like "Do you want to copy the row" , if hit "yes", it will copy and else no.
