Access Import

Hui,

You helped me in the past with a very useful macro which was a specialized count that would recap the number of zeros in a given range. I'm on a new project now and I am needing to bring some tables into Access from excel. I need to find a way which when i bring the tables in from excel that it will arrange the coloums instantly as to how I want to see it when I finally merge all three of them into one access data base. Is there a macro or a process that you couls suggest that may help me accomplish this? Thanks!

Lou,

can you please specify your exact requirment...your statement on the top is a bit confusing.

I'm not big into Access but I believe that as long as the columns (fields) are appropriately named Access generally imports them and works it out itself without too much effort

I sure some one else can add some more comments here.

Access generally imports data in the same order that they appear on the worksheet. When you go to merge the 3 imported tables, you can change up the field order as needed from the query.
