Change Tab Size in Excel 2013?

Tried changing the Excel-wide font in options to no avail. I've run out of ideas for this one. I can't find any reference to tab height in the MSDN Developer Site for Excel either.

Change Tab Size in Excel 2013?

Just adding a video showing that the above method does not work in Excel 2013, as stated in my OP.

Change Tab Size in Excel 2013?

I have tried this method numerous times and had another Excel MVP test this method. The method posted adjusts the scroll bar size and does nothing to the size of the tabs. If anyone else has some insight or can confirm this method works and myself and an Excel MVP are just idiots, please reply.

Change Tab Size in Excel 2013?

Have you tried this combo in Excel 2013 and Windows 7 specifically with actual results? Your answer is exactly the solution I posted in my OP - it no longer works for Excel 2013.

Change Tab Size in Excel 2013?

How can you change the size of the tabs at the bottom in Excel 2013? Is there another setting to adjust the font size/white space size/etc? Is this done via XML schema? I know in Excel 2003/2007/2010 it worked by using the following method: -Right click on your desktop and select...

    Ordinal Date Format [SOLVED]

Hey guys, I've dug around in search and can't seem to find anything exactly what I'm looking for. Here is the scenario -- I just want a custom date format (if possible) that will do the following. If I have a cell that says "May 23, 2013" I would like another cell to show the value "23rd day...

    VBA Audit Trail

I guess ideally I am attempting to break "sorting" within a single Excel workbook. I have this bit of code in XML that seems to work so far, but only for the home tab, it won't get rid of the "Sort" options under the data tab.... <customUI...

    VBA Audit Trail

Hey guys, Quick question.... Is there any easy way to record when a user sorts a file? This could be recorded on a hidden worksheet or saved to a separate text file. I've searched around a bit but haven't come up with something that relates to checking when a user sorts a file. Thanks...

Evaluate cells while ignoring div/0 0 values.

Thank you both for your input. Luke -- the UDF works perfect right now. SirJB7 -- I'm still messing with that formula, thank you for the start on it. Always nice to learn something new (I love this site!)

Evaluate cells while ignoring div/0 0 values.

I have revised the code to this: Function VarianceCheck(r As Range) As String Dim FirstValue As Variant FirstValue = "" For Each c In r If IsNumeric(c.Value) Then If c.Value <> 0 Then If FirstValue = "" Then FirstValue = c.Value Else If Round(c.Value, 5) <&#62...

Evaluate cells while ignoring div/0 0 values.

On second thought -- maybe I need to just add language to round it to some precision point, maybe 5 decimal places?

Evaluate cells while ignoring div/0 0 values.

Hey Luke, Quick quesiton. On the data set of: .0050, .0050, div/0 error, 0.000, .0050 -- the UDF pulls check, but this is actually okay. The div/0 & 0's will always be irrelevant, but I was hoping it could see that the .0050 is equal across the board. It is currently stating check for that...

Evaluate cells while ignoring div/0 0 values.

Luke -- the Excel dialog for mode.sngl says something along the lines of: "Returns the most frequently occurring, or repetitive, value in an array or range of data." Syntax: Mode.Sngl(number 1, number 2, etc....) I think a UDF is acceptable -- I have an add-in installed on most user's...

Evaluate cells while ignoring div/0 0 values.

SirJB7 -- thanks! I was looking for something like this, which is a lot shorter than the formula I currently have. It also introduces me to a new formula -- mode.sngl. There are a few scenarios here where the results don't come out as expected -- Data (it's in columns AF - AO, I was able to...

Evaluate cells while ignoring div/0 0 values.

Sorry -- I posted an edit. Should have been = .00389. If E1 was -.00389 it should say "Check".

Evaluate cells while ignoring div/0 0 values.

Hi everyone, I couldn't find a single formula that would capture what I am looking for when looking through the forums.... Here is the scenario: Suppose you have cells A1 through E1 containing this data: A1 = .00389 B1 = .00389 C1 = DIV/0 error D1 = 0 E1 = .00389 Is there a formula...

    formula ?

Assume the data (7,4,3,4,7) is in cells A1:A5 -- you can put this formula in cell B1: =IF(COUNTIF(A$1:A1,A1)=1,A1,"") and drag it down to cell B5. Hope this helps.

Assign a Range to Named Range in VBA

I guess the problem is that it returns the Distributions! with the quotes around it, but if you remove them it says to create a variable....but I don't really need that as a variable as it is just the workbook name.

Assign a Range to Named Range in VBA

Quick question for any VBA gurus out there (I can't seem to find out what is going on here). I have a short line of code: ' Cells.Find(What:="Partnership", After:=ActiveCell, LookIn:=xlFormulas, _ LookAt:=xlWhole, SearchOrder:=xlByRows, SearchDirection:=xlNext, _ MatchCase:=False...

    Sumif based on multiple Criteria

Okay, so I tried the following formula in cell C16 of the sample workbook that I posted and I'm coming up with N/A. I will keep playing with this. (I did ctrl+Shift+enter for the array formula). =SUMPRODUCT(($A$1:$A$8=A16)*($A$1:$H$1="Other")*($B$2:$H$8)) I've read various how-to's related...

    Sumif based on multiple Criteria

Sure thing. Here is a link to the workbook (Office 2010 format) https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B6AHVGZgtI6qbWN3cXgzZHZoenc So with this sample criteria, the "Multiple" sumif is based on a criteria in Column A, but also by Matching a Row titled "Other" (or some other word) in Row 1.

    Sumif based on multiple Criteria

Hello again Excel users, Quick question here. I'm thinking the solution is a sumproduct, but I'm not entirely sure. I want to use a sumif formula, that for the [range] portion of the sum I can calculate it based on multiple columns. For example, sumif(my range, investor name,IF column =...

I need help for creating hyperlinks.

Glad it was useful. Adding in a bit of code to delete the Index Sheet so that you can just run it would probably be beneficial in your scenario it sounds like.
