I feel very sad to inform you that I got a real stroke (2nd stroke) on 20th May 2022 (last Friday) and stayed in hospital for 6 days and just discharged by 25th May 2022.

In according to the MRI report that found blockage of blood vessel in my left brain near the neck. The stroke caused me giddiness, weakness, cannot walk properly and my leg muscles feel weak.

I need a longer sick leaves to take care of my health.

Hoping I have a speedy recovery and get well soon.

Please pray for me

Bosco

pray to God for a speedy recovery and I hope that you are always in perfect health.. and I ask you to rest in peace to speed up your recovery, God willing

Sad to read, and hopeful as well, since you seem not to have lost your capabilities of communication, speech, reading and writing.
Recover well dear Bosco.
@GraH - Guido,

Thanks, everything is fine now. I just feel tire, weak, sometime a bit of giddiness and walking should use a walking stick as a secondary support.

I am really the lucky one. I stayed in the city hospital, occupied in a 6 persons room which is particular for the stroke patient. All the room patients cannot walk and look after themselves. I lived there for six days, 3 patients were dead. I feel very frightening all the day.

Thanks to everybody in this forum for your warm support.

Dear Bosco,
I'm very pleased to hear you are doing okay, all things considered that is. I've witnessed the effect of a stroke from close by: a neighbour of my ant, my father in law, the partner of a colleague of my wife and my neighbour living 1 up. It can ruin lives for sure if the "wrong" part of the brain is touched.
That's a indeed frightening what you've been through. Having to witness another patient leave this world, is just beyond words, let alone 3 of them. How to you cope? It just reconfirms me I'm blessed to be living in a country with one of the best health care systems in the world. 2 person per room in such a hospital ward would be a max over here.
I've seen you are answering threads already. I believe because you like that and it probably gives you something else to think about, I can relate to that. It shows you are courageous. However do not overdo yourself, focus on getting even better and strong on your feet again. Give your brain time to rest as well.
Take care and I hope you have people closeby that can support you every step of the way towards recovery.

I need to thank and bless my wards nurses, doctors, and specialists team, they show their professional, fast action and close monitoring.

Without them, I wouldn't be discharged from the hospital so soon and can get recovery in a shorter time.

Thank you all of you.

Those are big feet you ask me to fill, @bosco_yip. #Humble. #WillDoIt.
Question do get answered at light speed over here. I hardly have the chance to view threads without solution. It's even at that stage I'm actually feeling I'm unlearning Excel. Filling my working days with Power Query, data modelling and simple DAX. It's fair to say it would also be beneficial for myself to visit the forum again more frequently.
