Friends & Readers of PHD, I am very glad to announce that Excel School is now available for your consideration.

Please read this short page to know more about the program and how you can join.

Excel School – Online Excel Training

What is Excel School?

Excel School is a 12 week online training program to help you become awesome in Microsoft Excel.

Why you should join this program?

The simple fact is, most careers now require proficiency of a spreadsheet software like Excel. Any managerial or analyst position requires good understanding of data and ability to work with it. Learning Microsoft Excel can be a very good career boost for you. Just by investing few hours every week, you can become good in this program.

While we can argue that Excel can be learned by reading help and visiting blogs like Chandoo.org, it also takes good amount of time if you use that method. Today, there are over 300 articles, tutorials and examples on Chandoo.org explaining almost every aspect of MS Excel. I am sure there are thousands of useful, free and fun articles on learning Excel across Internet. It would take almost 6 months if you read one article a day to master some of the core concepts of Excel. Even then you may not know some important things.

That is why I designed Excel School Program. This is a structured 12 week program. Each week I will explain one excel concept using informative videos and animations. This is an intense, focused and clearly defined program to help you learn Excel in useful and fun way.

Topics covered in Excel School:

The following topics are covered,

The 11th and 12th weeks of the program, called as “Open week”. This is when we discuss whatever the class wants. We can revisit some of the earlier concepts or talk about something totally new like solver, goal seek, group and outline etc. After 4th week, I will ask the class to suggest topics for the Open Week thru a poll.

How does it work?

See this diagram to understand how Excel School is going to work.
