I stand corrected. Making a text editor in Excel is a bad use for the product. If I recall, the guy was trying to sell it for $100. That's even worse.

Entevista com John Walkenbach...

Coloco aqui um resumo da entrevista feita pelo site chanoo.org com o John Walkenbach, em minha opinião o melhor autor de livros de Excel do mundo.

"there is no “bad” use for Excel."

Didn't somebody make a text editor in Excel once. That's a bad use, no two ways about it.

Great Stuff,
I seem to be having a few problems implementing the hyperlink suggestion via a named shape however (my shapes are named "box1", "box2" etc..)

Keep up the good work on the blog, and I hope this interview becomes part of an ongoing series.

re: banjo charts
perhaps we could plot distance along the fret against pitch of the individual string... just a thought.

What's a "banjo chart"? All Google found me were fingering diagrams and chord tabs. Those are nothing like pie charts, and in fact are a very useful mechanism for writing and reading music on stringed instruments.

I'm not wild about banjo music, though.
