Sorry for the slight delay in uploading the mela. I am stuck up with some submissions in the school :), without further delay.

Nation Round-up: The most horrible and shocking news of the week is the terror attacks in IISc – Bangalore. Read more about the incident on youth curry.

Exactly a year ago the nation was suffering from the nature’s fury in the form of ‘Tsunami’. Bloggers all over have recalled the dreaded incident. Most of the popular bloggers are remembering the disaster by placing a disaster remembrance band on the homepages. Gill recommends a Tsunami warning system and covers the whole incident brilliantly here. Dutch Diaries has a touching post on Tsunami.

Go round, travel: Lijo describes the journey to Kerala to visit home for Christmas. But don’t worry, if you want to travel, Vivek has a nice list of places to visit. May be you are thinking about where to stay in a new city. Kiruba describes about the CanICrash project here, now you can find bloggers who can lend you a sofa.

May be you don’t have time for traveling, then you can read about certain venkatanaraya road in chennai and feel nostalgia (that is if you belong to down south), or you can watch a photo clicked by Navin while he is traveling between Delhi and Mumbai.

Ok, you are not interested in traveling, but how about knowing the history? JK’s post on India being populated before Europe.

Entertainment & everything else: Vellithira, a blog on Malayalam movies, music and arts talks about Kavya – the only remaining actress in the Malayalam industry. Or probably you would like to read about Sakshi’s views on soul mates. Or if you belong to Mumbai or any other metro then you could identify with housing societies and how they cheat people as Navin explains here. Or if you belong to Delhi, you would be familiar with Ricks. Lijo recalls one experience with a rickshaw wallah in Delhi and how it left him satisfied.

If you are a technology buff then you wouldn’t mind reading some more about Google, Sadagopan’s article on 2005: the year of google. Or you should read Gaurav Sabnis’ article on the value of marketing to find an interesting argument for Microsoft’s competitive position.

That’s all folks; I enjoyed doing this. I hope you had fun reading the posts. Leave a comment if you want.

Next blogmela to be hosted by Harini.

Happy New Year!
