If you just want to Sum the values less than 0 use: =SUMIF(D6:D20,"<0")
If you just want to Sum the values greater than 0 use: =SUMIF(D6:D20,">0")

Subtotaling is generally done when a second, sorted column changes values

Hi to everyone!

Please see the file and comment!. Blessings!

Hi John
Thanks for the details, this will help me.
But as such there is no specific formula to get Sutotals for negative values, as in your file you have used SUMPRODUT, OFFSET in getting the result.

thanks

Did you read my post above ?
hi Hui,

Yes I read your post.
But my requirement was when i apply filter and move to next level of filitering i need to get the Subtotals to be applied for the data i have filtered.
If i use Sumif the values doesn't change, so i was looking in this forum if there is any way for looking Sum of Subtotal Negative values.

Sorry if i was not able to put down my requirement correctly.

Thanks
Ravindra
