Sorting Number

Please find the attachment screen short , excel . need to soft series wise , let me know how it possible.

Hi Sadasivan ,

First select your data range , and click on Text to Columns ; go through the default settings , but when it comes to selecting the format for the conversion , select Text. This will ensure that all your data is converted to text.

Now do the Sort ; when it asks you whether it should treat anything that looks like a number as a number , select the other option which says sort numbers and text separately ; this will ensure that your data is treated as text.

You will get the order you want.
