return the nth result from a match

Hi Everyone ,

I have searched the internet but can't quite see what I am looking for. I have a dataset that that has the following:
Column A - Contains the names of towns
Column B - Contains Debt Reasons
Column C - Debt amount
There are multiple entries of the same town with different debt reasons and sum of debt.

I am looking for a formula that will return me the highest / second highest / 3rd highest debt reason against the selected town.

can you post a small sample file with say 30/40 records ensuring that there are at least 3 or 4 records of each
