Pivot Table - Can't sort second column

I changed a person's name in the raw data and refreshed the pivot table. That person's name appears at the very bottom of the pivot table now, whereas everybody else is in alphabetical order. I then did an ascending sort and now all names are alphabetized. This is in the first column.

I then added a second column to the pivot table called employee type (full-time or hourly).
I am trying to do a 2 level sort.

First I want to sort by employee type (even though that is the 2nd column), then by employee name which is the first column.

I don't see any pivot table options that will allow this. Is this possible?

In the attached, I was able to sort each column just fine. Note that columns to the right are sorted lower than those on the left, since in a PT they are naturally created as a subset. If the attached is not what you want, could you mock-up an image of what you'd like to see?
