Consider the name data always has First, Middle and Last 3 names as per above example.

Extract the middle name, B2 formula copy down :

=MID(A2,FIND(" ",A2)+1,FIND(" ",A2,FIND(" ",A2)+1)-FIND(" ",A2)-1)
