Excel version is 2007. I have three workbooks with similar MS parameter queries against three separate databases (identical tables). One of the workbooks will allow me to return the data as a Pivot Table but the other two workbooks only allow to return data as a Table.
From there I can build a pivot table but that is a wasted step.
I don't want to get the data from within the pivot table because the query uses joined tables to extract the data.
Any idea why the discrepancy between the workbooks? The query definition is the same in all three so I am assuming it has something to do with the ODBC tables.
