I am currently in charge of creating dashboards reporting various metrics from system generated reports through our data warehouse. For the past few months i have been doing all of these manually by doing vlookups to extract data from multiple reports.
i recently tried to record a macros in order to automate this manual annoying work i have to deal with on a monthly basis but ran into the following problems:
1) every line item prompts me to open the file from which i need data and requires me to hit enter in order for the information to populate every time.
2) the recorded macro does not allow me to change the file for the new months data
I know there has to be an easier way of running this, and have included a screen shot of the formulas i have to enter every month. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
