Convert numbers to Text

Dear Somendra, Narayan, Debaraj and other Friends,

Attached here with sample excel sheet containing data in 269 rows in Column A. Here I have changed the format from numbers to text .In this regard, to get the actual data I need to press F2 for each respective cell until the last rows. As data is not in big amount may I can do it but getting similar kind of issues whenever I changed the formats with a result I need to enter F2 against each respective cell which is time consuming process. Hence, kindly let me know is there any formula or short cut key for changing the entire/column rather entering F2 at each cell.

This would really help me for time saving and also useful day to day work.

Kindly help me out for the same.

Thanks in advance,
Kumar

Hi,

You can use the below option

Select whole column -> Alt D +E -> Next -> Next -> Select General -> Finish

@Sathish

it's give the hole value as
9.11E+14

so there is little change

Select Whole Column - > Ald +D+E - > Next - > Next - > Select Text - > Finish
