Let say I have 2 sheets and I have to merge it. In one of the sheets the column headings are not same as that of other. Is it possible to merge both the sheets. The combines sheet should have data with heading of both the sheets.

I think you simply insert in H1 (Result Sheet):
=Sheet2!A1

Copy down and across.

I dunno want entries which are common in sheet1 and sheet2 not to repeat in the result tab. Unique entries from both sheet1 and sheet2 should be in result tab.

See if this is OK. Obviously , this cannot be extended to more than 2 sheets ; even with 2 sheets , this may be a problem if you have more than a few columns and a few hundred rows of data in each sheet.
