Hi,
I want to use an INDEX formula (non volatile) instead of an OFFSET formula as their are thousands of OFFSET functions within my spreadsheet. This formula is wrapped inside other calculations so I only need help with an alternative to this.
My current OFFSET formula looks like this...
=OFFSET(A4,,,dNum)
This formula lives in cell address E4.
dNum is the name of a single cell range. For this example dNum=254 and it's something I change quite often and therefore dynamic. In this example the OFFSET formula is referencing the range A4:A257. I then copy this down several thousand rows and across several columns.
Can you help with creating an efficient equivalent using INDEX?
regards
GB
