Hyperlinks from Cell to Shape or Object [SOLVED]

Hi Everyone,

I tried to do something with hyperlinks. I could connect shapes or objects to a specified cell in my workbook, so that when you click on the object you will get back immediately.

Now I thought it would be great if I could click on the cell and get back to the object, but I could not hyperlink the cell to the object.

I tried to name the object and built a hyperlink with a formula beside the cell that should contain the hyperlink in the first place. What happened is, that I got an Error Message.

So my Question is it possible to link cells to objects or shapes without using VBA and if not is it possible with VBA?

I'd be happy about your knowledge on this topic.

Thank you in advance.

Not really. When you click a hyperlink, it typically selects the cell you are linked to. I don't think you really want to select the shape, as you would have to de-select it then to be able to click on it. Can you instead link to the cell behind the shape?

Hi,
Exactly what Sir Luke said.
See the example:
on sheet1 you can click on shape to go to sheet2 H7

Then click on Sheet2 highlighted cell, you will be back to sheet1

Shape on sheet2 contains no color no line.

Regards,
