Hi Excel Guru,

Please help in resolving the issue. I had given the details in Excel file.
I had just given the same as example. Rather I had file which contains big data.

Hi Khalid,

Actually the figure should come as Sheet1!C3+Sheet2!C3+Sheet3!C3+Sheet4!C3 in the October ( loan sheet ) but when I am copying the formula from Sep and pasting it in October its copying Sheet1!D2+Sheet2!D2+Sheet3!D2+Sheet4!D2 instead of C3

Hi Narain,
Just wanted to know you had simply given SUM(Sheet1:Sheet4!C3) but if the data in sheets contains in different rows and cloumns ( like now its SUM(Sheet1:Sheet4!C3) but if in sheet 1 it is in C3, sheet2 C5, sheet 3 c8 then How should I write the same

Hi Lakshmi Narain,

Just need to a slight change in your formula and you can get appropriate value.

=SUM('Sheet1:Sheet4'!C3)

Can you please explain me what you want in that file? If u do it manually i will try with any formula. Need more clear explanation on ur question
