I think I may not have described my question very well. What I'm wanting to do is to have a table, or non-table for that matter, apply a filter automatically based on the change of a specific cell value. For example, I have a statement for my son's Boy scout troop. When I choose a name at the top of the statement, I want the table of transactions below to automatically filter to the name chosen above, so you don't have to pick from the drop down list, and then filter the table also. I'm including a copy of the workbook I'm working on.
