Hi,

It’s not an issue. Minor doubt about difference between value and value2.

Was going through the link mentioned below.

http://www.pcreview.co.uk/threads/difference-between-value-and-value2-and-obtaining-the-value-of-a-cell-in-excel-xp-and-later.3714051/

I did check the messagebox examples give on this portal.
However, my doubt is, has anyone used value2 in their projects with specific purpose.

I am not able to understand how it will help while working with ‘dates’.
Can anyone please help me in this.

PS - Since it's not an issue, just required these details for information purpose, posting in 'Lounge' section.

As for "Dates/Time" you can observe how it differs using following example.
If A1 has value 42461.3333333333

Formatted as Date (mm/dd/yyyy h:mm AM/PM)
Value = 4/1/2016 8:00:00 AM
Value2 = 42461.3333333333

Formatted as Time (h:mm)
Value = 8:00
Value2 = 42461.3333333333

So depending on the formatting applied to a cell, Value may return unexpected result. Where as Value2 will return same result regardless of format applied.
