Copy only specific colored cell

Hi,

It depends on which version of Excel you're using and if the coloured cells are in the same column. If it's Excel 2007 or later you can sort your column by colour and get all the same coloured cells together and copy and paste them.

You can do this without VBA. Just use an excel Filter. You can filter by Colour. Then just copy and paste the filtered column.

Dear Vikash,
You can filter,
Filter drop down,Select "Filter by color" select "color"
You will get the data copy and paste somewhere its manual way

See the file. It does not uses VBA code but an old Xl4 Macro function through name manager to return the interior cell colour, which then is used as a helper cell to extract the data on sheet2 through INDEX formula.

Simple is often best. Native excel functions will produce this result without calling a customised function or vba.
