Concatenate fields in pivot table

Hi,

Is it possible to to concatenate two field names into one and place the new field in the row area of a pivot table?

Here's the deal: Every week, sales data is dumped into a spreadsheet that we then use to create a pivot table. It's sales by country, and each country has a region. Problem is some countries, like France, have TWO regions, "Europe" and "Special". That is, France will have separate records for each of those two regions.

So, I would like the pivot table to merge the country and region fields together for later "sumproduct" analysis. That is, "Europe - France" and "Special - France".

Is that possible?

Have you tried just creating an additional column in your data with formula:

=A2&" - "&B2

and then adding that new column to your PT?
