I am trying to set up a macro that will stop auto calculate on open. Maybe this is not the right approach. When the workbook opens auto calculation is taking precedence over the macro. Maybe I am making this harder than it should be. Options anyone?
Potential solution provided in excel workbook. Test#1 seems to require use of array formula while test 2 was simpler.
Feel free to test for logic flaws or to offer simplified or alternate formula versions

2. You wish to test each cell , starting from B2 , through to B86 , for two conditions :
Whether the cell in column B is either Corn or Tomato
Whether the cell in column B starts with the letter P
It is clear that both the above conditions cannot...
Task: Identify ID's meeting multiple criteria:
Use same test data for both tests (or combine both test under 1 formula if you are an Excel god)

Thank you. I was on the wrong path trying to use percentile and rank functions. I was not familiar with LARGE function but it worked perfectly.
I knew it had to be easier than I was making it.
I need to be able to lookup calculated results in an unsorted data table and return the value that meets a specified percent (completion time = 95% for the sample data provided).
For a simple test case (one state - 10 records - no duplicate values - Time = 1 to 10) Returning the 90% completion...
