Pivot Graph - display months along axis

Hi
Sure this is simple but I can't work it out.

I want to change the x axis in a pivot table graph to show only the months rather than days but still show the data for each day.
e.g. have Jan, Feb, Mar, etc along the axis but have all the data shown in the graph area (not summarised by month. Still want the daily data).

Needs to be shown for multiple years data. (don't mind adding more calculating columns if that's required)

Right click on the Chart's X Axis labels
Format Axis
Axis Options
Axis Type: Date axis

Now Right Click on the Pivot table on any record in the Day_Month field
Field Settings
Layout & Print Tab
Number Format (@ Bottom Left)
Custom
mmm yy

ps: As a comment
Data!A2 17/8/11 has the season as 2012 and a Day_Month of 2012 which I understand
But Data!A66694 has a date 31/5/14, a Season of 2014 but a day_month of 2013 which seams inconsistent
