How to use functions by vba: vlookup

Hi team

I have two files: Master and Result.
In result file I want a numbers of respectiive names which are to be found in Master file.

I want a VBA Macro code so that it can be done automatically always.

Please advise what code we can write.

P.S. I want function to be passed to cells in Result Workbook not value. Please advise how is it possible. I need this.

Cant we have both the data in One single worksheet & then after formulating if we could just pick the resultant data & copy paste that using VBA into other worksheet.. will that be fine with u?
