Stretch goal line for the entire axis on a line chart

I'm trying to have the goal line stretch the entire axis, but it's not. How would I get it to stretch from end to end?

Thanks!

Hi ,

1. Shift the horizontal lines to the secondary axis.

Since this adds a vertical axis first , you need to do the following :
  • Ensure the primary and secondary vertical axes scales are identical
  • Ensure that the display of the secondary vertical axis marks and labels is turned off
2. Turn off the secondary horizontal axis marks and labels

3. While still in the secondary horizontal axis formatting dialog , change the selection of the Vertical Axis Position Axis setting from :

Between tick marks

to

On tick marks

I have the goal lines on the secondary vertical axis, but can't seem to get them on the secondary horizontal axis. How do I do that?

Hi ,

You need to insert the secondary horizontal axis manually.

After selecting the line series , click on Layout , Axes , Secondary Horizontal Axis , and select Show Left to Right Axis.

You should now see the secondary horizontal axis above the chart.

Click on it , right-click to bring up the menu , and make the required selections.
