Excel formula Help needed

Hi,

I am trying to make a excel sheet for Hostel Mess attendence.

I Want formula help to calculate total p=Present Including L=leave and with a condition that if a student is absent continously absent for 5 or more days then only he /she is absent from mess else he/she is present .

This 5 days is variable accoreding to laws of mess

Please help
