Special Rate Applicable after 15 days

Hi All,

I want a formula to calculat the special charge in my file. Below are the key points for calculation.

1. Free days may be anything,
2. On 15th day After end of freedays special charge of 250 must be applicable
3. after 15th day then USD 500 on each 10th day after

eg Freetime is 7 Days then on 22nd Day 250 must be applicable then on 32,42,52 and so on 500 must be applicable.

i added one column highlighted with green ("New Rates") and where in i shown when the special rates are applicable if freetime is 7 days

You want that what you have manually put in , in column E , should come through a formula ; is this correct ?

If so , can you explain the process in more detail ?

1. From where is the initial value of 10 in E4 to be taken ?

2. From where is the addition of 50 ( from cell E19 onwards ) to be taken ? Will it always be an addition of 50 ?

3. What is the reasoning for the other amounts such as 90 , 120 ?

Hi ,

1. Column C is the freedays given to the customer, in this case it is 7.
2. Column D is the standard Rates
3. Column E is the the output which i want.
4. new rates will be same as updated in column D on condition 15th day after end of freedays will have special charge of 250 and after 250 every 10th day 500 will be charged

Eg. Freeday 7
1st Special Charge will be on 7+15 = 22Day 250
next special charges will be on 32,42,52,62 and so on 500

The formual work till 9 freetime and if i enter 10 or more freedays then it doesn't give the correct output.

Can you post some data in separate worksheet tabs , illustrating the output for freedays = 7 and freedays = 10 ?
