Chart to select multiple data series

Portucale

Member
Hi,

I need to set up a chart where the users can choose one or more items which thereafter would be displayed in a chart/graph, the choices can be up to 19 items.

I have currently the choices set up with a "tick" box, which is linked to a cell given True/False, of course, when is True the data should be visible in the graph/chart, my issue is how do I determine when is more than one "True" in the range...

Any help is very much appreciated,

Thanks in advance

Hello Portucale,

Not getting your point...
Do you want another tick box ?

As Hui suggested plz upload a sample file

Thanks for the help, file attached.

I would like for the user to be able to select more than one line and to be able to show on a table to create the chart.

Cheers

See attached file as an example of one method to achieve what you want
It uses an intermediate series to store the series values
or a #N/A error if the series isn't required

Hi Hui,
Thanks for the help and solution, in matter of fact I've managed to get a different one which is great for what i need, but now I am running into another issue, every time I refresh the chart the Data Series loses format, any idea how can I keep the format of my Data Series (Lines)?

Enclosed my working workbook for your perusal.

Kind regards,

Can you explain how to cause it to loose format as I can see that happening ?
